This years official Candlewood Lake Illuminated Light Parade sponsored by the New Fairfield Parks and Rec had its permit pulled by DEEP. COVID attempted to leave the parade in its wake of destruction, but failed miserably! Approximately 20 boaters went rogue and had an impromptu parade of their own!
Boaters started gathering around Candlewood Isle right before dusk and the parade kicked off around 8pm. The Candlewood Lake Life boat was decked out with glowing black and neon lights. The night proved to be a hit with everyone having a blast!
